As usual I stayed awake until early morning to finish reading Lincoln Lawyer, after the other three in the series.  The first Haller book is best, with the most depth, absorbing plot, and emotionally moving scenes.  Mickey's relationship with Maggie is more interesting; she's true-to-life in this novel.  Lincoln Lawyer tops all the Connelly novels I've read so far, though The Drop's ending is very satisfying, classic.
I want to see more with Harry and Mickey in the same story. There's always either tension between them, or awkwardness where they don't know what to say to each other.  If Mr. Connelly puts them together in a high-suspense scenario, kind of like the Brass Verdict scene but longer and more involved....

Or a scenario where their daughters get into big trouble and both Daddies have to help them out, in a Law and Order type fashion...not to compare this to the TV show, you would just have both angles.

Just read several books on Mickey - I have a greater appreciation for what defense lawyers have to put up with. Great reads. Thanks MC!
