Fifteen months after bringing his mother’s killer to justice, Bosch finds himself seeking the truth on two fronts. New evidence in an old case leaves everyone wondering whether Bosch planted evidence to convict the wrong guy. And a murder at a Hollywood pharmacy exposes a sophisticated opioid pill mill, sending Bosch down a dark and perilous path in pursuit of the killers.

That certainly sounds like a synopsis for Two Kinds of Truth.
That was the first book I listened to after discovering the Bosch series and I really enjoyed it.
<--- Rubs hands together...can't wait for Season 5!

As long as Maddie is the central character on the poster I’ll never watch this show again.  I may be a woman but I am NOT into chick flicks or soap operas.

Michael?  What happened to Harry Bosch??

I love the poster. It fits perfectly with Harry's thoughts in "The Drop"

Most parents were raising citizens of the future. Doctors, teachers, mothers, keepers of family businesses. Bosch was raising a warrior.

That's not the poster for the show. There were images created for all the characters. The main poster has Harry front and center. If you really want to follow Bosch with images and videos and news, etc, you should look to Twitter, Instagram and Facebook--not this forum.

Nice posters.

And Maddie does have "the look".

Although Two Kinds of Truth was not my favorite book, I really liked this season which was based on the book.  I suspect (and hope) that it will be a launchpad for incorporating Dark Sacred Night into season 6, and introducing the Rene Ballard character into the series.

I thought season 5 was interesting in how it replaced Micky Haller with Money Chandler as Bosch's lawyer. It also replaced Micky's rough and tumble investigator with a similar character as Money's investigator.  My understanding is that Micky Haller cannot be in the Bosch series, because rights to his character belong to another studio. Too bad.  But I did think that the writers showed ingenuity in getting around this problem and keeping the main threads of the story intact.

Wow, some really close-minded people on here...over a poster, so you're going to stop watching the show?  Because of a female character?  I like that Bosch is starting to respect Chandler's investigator, and his abilities to find things out...and he's not fighting him every step of the way, like it seemed it was going to go at first!

I agree that the poster is fine, and I like the idea that all the characters had special posters, but I also think that the casting of Maddie leaves a bit to be desired.  She seems to have a permanent pout on her face and gives a dull, one note performance.

That's just the typical teenager pout lol...but she's wise beyond her years, so torn between teenagedom, and adultdom!  Lol...

Just finished Season 5! Great cast, great producing/directing. Loved it! Keep 'em coming. They are easy to devour.

I know, I only have two more episodes to watch in Season 5, and I'm bummed...Just came out ten days ago, and done!  Trying to prolong it as long as I can, but the episodes are really only about .5 hour long, and easily all watched in one day!!!  A whole season of a show that you can watch in one day just doesn't seem right!   Boo!

To me, she looks like death warmed over.  I hope they are drawing in the gaunt, hollow look with make-up.  It actually bothers me how skinny and ill she appears.  Hope her health is good.

How would Harry reply to you?

Good question.  He might say: 'My family is off limits.  You stay away from my daughter, my wife, or I'll flick off your off switch.'
