The past is catching up with Harry Bosch in TWO KINDS OF TRUTH.

Harry Bosch is back as a volunteer working cold cases for the San Fernando police and is called out to a local drug store where a young pharmacist has been murdered. Bosch and the town’s 3-person detective squad sift through the clues, which lead into the dangerous, big business world of prescription drug abuse.

Meanwhile, an old case from Bosch’s LAPD days comes back to haunt him when a long-imprisoned killer claims Harry framed him and seems to have new evidence to prove it. Bosch left the LAPD on bad terms, so his former colleagues aren’t keen to protect his reputation. He must fend for himself in clearing his name and keeping a clever killer in prison.

Thrilled there's a new book coming out, but disappointed Titus Welliver will be doing the audiobook version. I love him as Bosch on the show (as well as in other roles he's played). But he's not a very good reader.

I must respectfully disagree with Yoz. Although Titus started a little ragged/rushed on the first Bosch audio, he's settled in nicely imho, and his Matthew Mcconaughey as Mickey Haller impression cracks me up. That being said, Len Cariou was a tough act to follow, and he'll always be the voice of Bosch to me on audios. Just like Dick Hill is Jack Reacher, George Guidall is Walt Longmire, Jonathan Davis is Patrick Kenzie, and James Daniels is Elvis Cole & Joe Pike. And Roy Dotrice is every person in GOT (hahahaha).

My total commute is 3-4 hours a day, and excellent regular narrators in a series are like old friends paying a visit. I've become very critical of poor or mediocre readers, and if a new voice doesn't rub me the right way by the end of the first chapter, I stop and find another narrator, or just don't do the book.
